Not everyone is cut out for being a business owner and successful entrepreneur but Paul Herdsman is one of those people as he now serves as the founder and COO of NICE Global.

He recently sat down with Idea Mensch to discuss how he got to where he is today and where he hopes to go in the future of his career.

Back in the day, they were outsourcing their products from five different countries but, eventually, they managed to set up shop in just one nation: Jamaica. However, he has said that his office is not where he is most productive. In fact, most of Paul’s best business ideas come to him when he is outside the office. He finds that his business partners are particularly proficient at listening to his ideas and providing him with feedback on them.

If he could go back in time and give advice to his younger self, he would tell him to learn how to become adept at solving problems and uncovering resolutions by any means necessary. Paul Herdsman finds that making the most of his time is one of the many ways he manages to remain productive.

Some of the ways he does this include being succinct in his calls and emails and keeping his meetings brief and concise. The best $100 he recently spent is when he went out and got some groceries to host a cookout with his close friends and family. He had recently lost a dear friend so this event proved to be rather cathartic for everyone involved. Go To This Page to learn more.

One of the best pieces of software he uses is slack as he believes it to be one of the most effective methods of communication. One of the books he recommends to aspiring businessmen is don’t sweat the small stuff.
