Hussain Sajwani is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of DAMAC Properties, which is a luxury real estate developer that is headquartered in Dubai. He founded the company in 2002 and has been working to steadily grow it ever since. He began working in the real estate sector back in the 1990’s when he was a part of the building of many different hotels which helped to serve the large number of people who were visiting Dubai to conduct their business. In the early 2000’s, he realized the potential of the real estate market on Dubai and created DAMAC. He understands every aspect of the business his company does from sales, marketing, and all of the way to the financing that it needs to succeed.

When Hussain Sajwani first started up DAMAC Properties, the company served as a private, commercial, and leisure real estate company that focused on developing residential properties. Since then, the company has grown and works in a spread of different countries including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, North Africa, and Lebanon, and, today, is worth over $4.5 billion. On top of this, Sajwani helped DAMAC to become the first real estate company based in the Middle East that is featured on the London Stock Exchange, and it is now also listed on the Dubai Financial Market.

Hussain Sajwani started out his career by traveling to the United States where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics while studying at the University of Washington. His first job was with GASCO, but he quickly moved on to other work and eventually created his very own catering company in 1982. Today, his catering company is a leader in its market and serves close to 150,000 meals every day in Africa, the Middle East, and The CIS.

Over the years, Hussain Sajwani has had the chance to work with many well-known figures and big name companies. Two of these are Fendi Casa and Vesace Home, and his company DAMAC offers its clientele apartments and villas that are completely serviced by these companies. He also worked with Tiger Woods to build some of the golf courses that sit in DAMAC’s luxury apartment home communities and has worked with the Trump Organization who services some the golf courses that his company runs.
